well i'm still in Florida ::smacks own hand:: bad cord-chan bad! after my first bout of illness which only lasted 2 days (this is when i had the 102 degree fever) i got sick again, a little bit of the creeping crud flu, you know, the one where your nose runs, your throat swells up and you ache all over and just generaly feel crappy. i'm feeling better thought today. so good in fact that i think i'm going to go to the Atlantic Bread Company and gets me some pastry! yay pastry!
major life decisions:
alright so i think i know what i want to do now. I'm going to go back to Savannah (eventualy) and get a job and try to build up a nest egg. i will not be going to grad school , at least not at this time. and then once i have some money and have looked into it even more i'm thinking of starting my own buisness! you heard me right world! i shall try my hand at being an ante...entre....buisness person! what buisness you ask? paint your own pottery mwahahha, i shall own a kiln! i figure i can get a nice little space and have the paint your own pottery part to help keep up the income and when i have no customers i will be doing my own pottery which i can then sell over the internet or at ren fairs. does that sound like a spiffy idea? and i can still work on my own art when theres no customers so that my illustration degree wont be going to waste. figure i'll start off as the only employee and then work up. i found a company through who i could get my ideal start up studio , including: large kiln, small kiln, glazes, and about 750 pieces of pre-done bisque ware, for $10,000. i dont think thats very bad, looking at what kilns cost on thier own and all, and thats including shipping. and that predone bisqueware is what people would paint (it's already been fired once and is now read for color). and thier bisque was very reasonably priced as well for restocking. all in all it's looking like an entirely plausable buisness venture. in fact i shall be going out today to the very few ceramic places around and seeing how they're set up and what they have and all, it's interesting that most of the places are in St. Pete as apposed to Largo where i live. yay for minimal competition!
yes world i'm showing fallow through and initiative, fear me! ummmm thats about it. tell me what you think of my plan people! and if you don't i'll throw monkey poo at you so there!
